I didn't know Stephen Gately from Boyzone passed away a month ago until a friend told me today. I used to love Boyzone when I was in the boyband-ish phase. You can never go wrong with cheesy pop music!

I've been MIA for the past few days and I dare say many didn't know where I went and all. I was in Krabi, Thailand! An awesome place to be, sun, sea, sand and yummeh food (for the stomach and the eyes as well ;))

Journey there was butt-numbingly hellish but it was worth it! I stayed on Nopparat Thara Beach, which is within walking distance to Ao Nang, where most of the nightlife/shopping is. Shopping involves lots of haggling, and its almost the same as what we'll get at Batu Feringgi, albeit a higher price. Personally Krabi is kinda like Penang, from Tg Tokong up to Teluk Bahang with cleaner beaches.

What I enjoyed the most was the island hopping! Went on the 4 islands tour which consisted of Phra Nang, Chicken Head Island, Tup Island and Poda Island. The speedboat ride to the islands were pretty choppy but it was worth it! The islands were pretty similar. Soft, white sand, azure skies, clear water to snorkel, and eye candy! Each of the islands were interesting in their own way: one was shaped like a chicken, one had a cave filled with phallic structures, and another had this stretch of beach where you could walk across to another island during low tide.

Met a smorgasbord of people who each fascinated me in their own way. There was this old Swedish couple, Sven and his wife(forgot her name) who visit Asian beaches during winter every year, Youssef the gem lover that speaks 8 languages, and Emilio, a university student, who habla-ed a lil bit of Espanol and English with me by the poolside.

If I had the chance to I'd revisit Krabi again, this time with good friends to enjoy more.. Anyone wants to go on a beach holiday?

All of a sudden when I was resting on my bed I remembered about my all time favourite final fantasy game "Final Fantasy 9". The characters in this game is so cute especially Vivi and Zidane. Here is one of the soundtrack from this game:

Our lil one is starting to like water! Cal and I brought him down for a walk today.
He was a lil hesitant when Cal and I sat with our legs in the adult pool but he slowly made his way over and sat with us.
Lil one was his usual inquisitive self and even tasted some pool water.
We switched to the baby pool, that's when my brave boy started playing with water and getting his paws wet =)

Lil one loves to watch AFC and tennis, hopefully he'll be like me and support Nadal!

Thats all for now, blog's on a hiatus for a week while I go soak up some sun rays and do some retail therapy while the better half is busy sitting for his tests and writing assignments. Toodles!

p.s: I know the blog's filled with Brie the kitten for now, but I promise you there'll be a post on my dogs(past and present) when I get back!

Brie: Greetings, humans!

Its officially the 2nd week of my sem break and its been unproductive. VERY unproductive. Everyday's the same old routine. Wake up, go look after Brie, lunch, come back and watch TV. My life's so hausfrau-ish that I'm beginning to scare myself. But things are gonna change after next week, most of my good friends are coming back = UBER FUN!

Seems like my reading speed is slowing down now.. I used to be able to finish a book in days. Its been 5 days since I started reading the Lost Symbol and I'm only halfway through. Something tells me I need more mind stimulating activities. Which I do have, btw. Just that I'm too lazy to start on them. *slaps self* I'll write 1 article per day. Starting tonite.

Pics of our lil furkid are up, see how he oozes adorableness! He's hard to handle at times with his hyperness, and gets a lil demanding when its feeding time, but other than that he's super lovable. Especially when he's up to his antics, and boy can he somersault! Love the way he falls asleep in my lap =)

Kittens have a way of finding me and I have no idea why. So I was woken up this morning by a kitten meowing really loudly on the road beside my house. Wanted to rescue it but one of the workers at the restaurant next door picked it up, so I let it be... UNTIL i heard meowing from UNDER my trashcan.. that FRIGGING IMBECILE trapped the little kitten so it couldn't escape. Let it out, dropped it somewhere near my place, and ran home. I wanted to keep it but couldn't thanks to the sister going ballistic and barking non stop at home. So went out for half the day with Cal and when I came back the poor kitten was trapped under the trashcan again (I swear karma will befall that EEDJIT). Am still trying to find a home for the kitten, so if anyone's interested please give Cal or me a call or drop a message here!


Our lil one is approximately 8 weeks old and its a he. I think. Super adorable ball of fur thats extremely playful and hyperactive! This fuzzball has a way of melting people's hearts with his innocent blue kitten eyes. And when she does that head tilt thingy animals do? You'll be hooked on to him =D Throwing in a bottle of kitten formula and kitten food as well for whoever wants to adopt him, so please feed her only that as kittens are lactose intolerant.

Remember Mittens(RIP), the lil kitten Cal and I found back in March? Perhaps our baby reincarnated and this is her way of telling us that she's all good now.. Lil one has an uncanny resemblance to Mittens apart from the color of their irises. Now I'm missing Mittens =(


Was sitting in front of Vladimir thumping out a few Westlife songs on them ivories and had this urge to go youtube this song. And listening to it transported back to my primary school days.. Back to those carefree days.. of WL craze and obsessing over hot Irish guys (still do, see how droolicious Shayne Ward is) with my best friends back then (whom I hardly speak to now, FYI), and back to the days where WL just started out (look where they are now, 3 married and 1 gay, I have nothing against gays FTR). Damn I feel old. And this is a fairly new version, and anyone and everyone who knows me knows I LURRRRVE acoustic versions! Song is dedicated to Abby coz Bryan's not in there.. MWAHAHAHAHA!

NICHOLAS's Blog - Congratulations Boss! Your a top student in the program and should keep up with what your doing. Dude don't lose temper so easily not worth it as it shortens your life span only.

MEI YEN's Blog - I see a lot of nice songs in your recent post but nothing beats the old songs namely like Eric Clapton, Bee Gees and Eagles. It's really sad to hear that some IDIOTS poison a golden retriever. Don't they know it's a living thing and has a feeling too =(

CARMEN's Blog - Her blog is always hard for me to understand and I like it because it's really different the way she thinks from most people her age. ROTI TISSUE satu ANE!

KAREN's Blog - My goodness SPM is around the corner! Streesful days ahead for you all huh??yet in this stressful times you girls still manage to have lots of fun, which I didn't quite had when I was sitting for the exams =(

ALEX CHEOH FB page - Wow!this dude here is finally in a real relationship with a nice girl and I'm so happy for him eventhough I was the last among the guys who knew it. Appreciate what you have infront of you and don't dwell in the past anymore.

That's about the few people pages I visited today. In fact, these are the few people I keep in touch with latey including both Ashleys, former classmates of DEE and several more. My world resolves around a small group of friends who I can really call FRIENDS at the end of the day.
